Vanity Of Fleeting Popularity - Ecclesiastes 4:13-16

Today's American society is defined more by entertainers, music, and the whole pop culture than by beliefs, family, and decency. The pop stars and entertainers are given more attention bot in life and death than the true heroes of this nation that lay down their lives for our freedoms. Even when voting for candidates for political office, people treat it more as a popularity contest than as a test of beliefs and leadership ability. We must understand that the applause of man is vanity.
