Hindrances Or Opportunities - Philippians 1:12-14

Too often in life we tend to complain about our circumstances and trials in our lives. We focus on ourselves at theses times and not on the needs of others. Obviously, the Philippians are concerned for Paul and his imprisonment. They may be feeling sorry for him or thinking that the Gospel is hindered because he is not free to travel and preach. Paul tells the Philippians that the things that have happened have furthered the Gospel not hindered it. We must learn to look at the circumstances and trials in our lives as opportunities and not hindrances.
