Do Not Set Yourself Up As The Master - James 3:1-2

We have all met the guy that sets himself up as the expert and standard by which all others are judged. As James continues the thought of faith without works is dead, he shows how a "dead faith" can lead to one being filled with pride and believing they set the standard by which all others must be measured. We must remember that Jesus is the standard not you.
