Your Character Matters - Esther 2:5-23

Paul wrote in I Timothy 6:6, "But godliness with contentment is great gain." Society today seems to focus more on feelings and emotions than character. It amazes me how people will note a character flaw in a political candidate but feel good about what they said so the y vote for them, and then are dumbfounded when the politician goes against what they promised. As the events of how Esther became queen continue to unfold in this passage, we are given much insight into the character of Esther and her cousin Mordecai, and that will be the focus of the message. We must learn to display a consistent Godly character.
