Boasting In Riches (Part 1) - James 5:1-6

According to I Timothy 6:10, what is the root of all evil? Often you hear this misquoted, and people say that money is the root of all evil. Money is neither good nor bad, but it is the love of money that is the root of all evil. As James warns against boasting, he now turns his attention to riches. This passage reminds us that the riches of this world are temporary. It also reminds us that although the rich of this world may seem to have it made, without Christ, their end is destruction. We must not boast in riches nor become jealous of those that are rich.
