Walking Worthy - Ephesians 4:1-3

The first chapters of Ephesians contains much doctrine showing us our position in Christ. Starting here in chapter four, Paul focuses on the practical application of what he has taught as he teaches the practice of the Christian. The Christian life is to be an abundant life not just in the life to come, but also here in this world. Many Christians never seems to experience a truly abundant life because they never truly learn to walk worthy of the vocation wherewith they are called. This is much like Israel when God had delivered them from Egypt, a picture of the world, but God wanted them to enjoy an abundant life in the Promised Land. Israel did not trust God and wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. Christian, it is time to come out of the wilderness and enjoy an abundant life. We must walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called.
