Love The Brethren - I John 2:7-11

Another test of our fellowship is given in this passage. This is the test of love. The love refereed to in this passage is not the love that gives in order to gain. It is not the Hollywood version of love that is based on feelings. It is not even the brotherly love many think it is. As we examine this passage, we will see what it means to love the brethren. One that does not have this love for God's people is not in fellowship with God. We must have fellowship with God in order to have a genuine love for the brethren.
